Understand Revenue Impact

What the four Revenue Impact tiles mean: won revenue, recovered from follow-ups, revenue at risk, and lost.

Revenue Impact is the four-tile widget on your dashboard that turns Yesoma from a customer desk into a business view. It answers the question owners actually care about: did this make me money?

The four tiles

Recorded won revenue

Sum of deal_value on every inquiry you closed as won, for the period shown. This is real money earned — and it's only as accurate as the deal values you enter when closing cases.

Recovered from follow-ups

A subset of recorded won revenue: deals that closed after a follow-up had been scheduled and acted on. This is the metric that proves follow-ups pay for themselves. If this tile is small, scheduling more follow-ups is the highest-leverage thing you can do.

Revenue at risk

Sum of deal_value on open inquiries that are either marked urgent, marked high urgency, or have been silent for 7+ days without a reply. This is your "if I do nothing else this week, fix this" pile.

Lost opportunities

Sum of deal_value on inquiries closed as lost. Pair it with the Insights tab to see why — common loss reasons (price, timing, competitor) point you at what to fix.

How to make these tiles real

Every tile depends on you doing two things consistently:

  1. Close cases with an outcome — won, lost, or no decision. See Mark inquiries as won or lost.
  2. Enter a deal value when you close. Even a rough estimate is better than nothing. Yesoma uses the value you typed, not a guess.

Multi-currency

If your inquiries span multiple currencies (you sell to clients in different countries), Revenue Impact shows the values per your workspace currency and surfaces a small "Multiple currencies — values approximate" notice. We don't auto-convert; the totals are sums of recorded values.

Where the tiles live

  • Dashboard — the headline widget, always visible.
  • Insights → Revenue — historical view, broken down by channel, category, and teammate.
