What happens after I request setup

The step-by-step from request received to a live channel, and how long each stage takes.

You requested Managed Messaging setup — here's what happens next.

The steps

  1. Request received — we email you a confirmation right away.
  2. Details reviewed — a real person reviews your business + the channels you chose.
  3. Eligibility checked — we check number and account eligibility for each channel.
  4. Setup prepared — we connect the channel(s) behind the scenes.
  5. Approval / provisioning — WhatsApp depends on Meta approval; SMS may need number provisioning + compliance review.
  6. Activated — we email you when each channel is live.
  7. Monitoring — usage + channel health appear in your Messaging hub.

You can watch progress any time in Messaging — each channel shows its current status.

How long it takes

We respond within one business day. Going fully live varies by channel: WhatsApp API activation depends on Meta approval and account eligibility; SMS depends on number provisioning. We keep you posted at each step.

What we'll never ask for

We will never ask for your passwords, login codes, or full payment card details. Don't paste those into setup notes. If anything asks you for them, it isn't us — email support@getyesoma.com.
