Self-train with Yesoma Academy

Academy for solo owners: free professional development between clients, and a real certificate (with a public verification link) for your LinkedIn, business cards, and proposals.

Yesoma Academy is not just for teams. If you are a solo owner, it is free professional development you can do between clients, and a credential you can actually show off. This guide reframes Academy for one-person businesses. For how courses and certificates work mechanically, see Train your team with Yesoma Academy.

Why bother when it's just you

When you are the whole business, every skill is yours to carry: winning the inquiry, handling the awkward customer, keeping your accounts and data safe. Academy turns those into short, practical lessons you can finish on a phone. No classroom, no schedule, just better at the parts of the job that actually move money.

What's on offer

Academy is a catalog of short courses across two tracks:

  • Customer Experience — Customer Service Foundations, Handling Difficult Customers.
  • Business Security — Password & MFA Basics, Cybersecurity Basics for Small Businesses, AI Safety, Phishing & Scam Awareness.

Each is a set of bite-size lessons, a quick check after each one, copy-ready scripts you can reuse with real customers, and a final assessment.

The certificate is a real credential

Finish a course and you earn a certificate with a unique ID and a public verification link. That link is safe to share: it shows your name, the course, your business name, the date, and the skills, and nothing private. Use it to:

  • Add the credential to your LinkedIn profile.
  • Put "Yesoma Certified" on your business cards, website, or proposals.
  • Send a customer the verification link as proof you take service (or security) seriously.

It is honest about what it is: a Yesoma Academy certificate, not an accredited or government qualification. But for a small business, "trained and certified" is a genuine trust signal most of your competitors do not have.

How to start

Open Academy from the sidebar (Intelligence, then Academy). Pick a course, work through the lessons whenever you have ten minutes, pass the final, and claim your certificate. Your progress saves as you go.
