Get listed on Yesoma Marketplace
Yesoma Marketplace is the public directory at /find where customers browse service businesses. Turn on your listing, add a tagline + cover photo + gallery, and start receiving inquiries tagged 'marketplace' straight to your inbox.
Yesoma Marketplace is the public directory at getyesoma.com/find where customers browse service businesses that actually reply. Every listing connects to a Yesoma workspace, so inquiries from the marketplace land in your inbox like any other source. Getting listed is a switch in Settings + a few minutes of polish.
1. Turn the listing on
Settings → Marketplace → toggle List my business on Yesoma Marketplace.
Before you flip it on, fill in:
- Tagline — one line that captures what you do, who you do it for, and where. Example: "Bridal makeup + lashes for African brides across Atlanta + ATL airport pickups." Shown on your profile + as the meta description in Google results.
- Hero photo — the cover image that appears on browse cards and the top of your profile. Upload via the Upload hero photo button (8 MB cap; JPG / PNG / WebP). If you've set a brand color but no photo, your profile renders with a tasteful brand-tinted band instead.
- Photo gallery — up to 12 additional photos for the carousel on your profile. Drag to reorder; the first one doubles as the browse-card cover when you don't have a separate hero set.
If you toggle on without filling tagline or photo, Yesoma will block the save and tell you why. The marketplace's promise is "businesses that reply" — empty listings hurt that.
2. What customers see
Your profile lives at getyesoma.com/find/<your-slug> and shows:
- Hero band in your brand color with logo + business name + location + category + rating chip (if you have reviews) + trust badges (verified reviews, referral perk if enabled, bookings count)
- Photo carousel with the lightbox if you uploaded a gallery
- Services — pulled from your Business Brain. Empty Business Brain → "Services coming soon" placeholder.
- Hours + service area — from your Business Brain
- "Before you message" trust card — what info to include in the first message
- Contact form — captures name + email/phone + message + preferred date → lands in your inbox tagged
source: marketplace - Reviews section with star average + individual reviews + a public review form
On the browse page (/find), customers see your cover photo, name, category, location, rating, response badge, service tags, hours, and a Message + View profile button.
3. Categories + discovery
You're auto-bucketed into one of 7 categories based on your industry:
- Beauty & Wellness · Events · Home Services · Coaching · Food & Catering · Auto · Professional Services
Customers can:
- Browse by category —
/find/categories/<key>— these are real SEO landing pages with industry-themed intro copy - Browse by city —
/find/cities— geographic grouping - Save businesses — heart icon on each card stores favorites in their browser
- Filter by sort + price — newest, alphabetical, fastest-to-reply, max-price slider
Your listing also gets surfaced via the global sitemap (/sitemap.xml) so Google indexes it.
4. Reply time metric
Cards show one of two badges:
- "Replies in ~X min" — when you have 5+ qualifying inbound→reply samples over the last 90 days
- "Replies managed with Yesoma" — universal fallback before you've accumulated enough samples
The metric is computed nightly by a cron (median inbound-to-first-outbound gap, capped at 7 days per case). The more you reply through Yesoma, the more accurate + impressive your badge becomes.
5. Reviews
Customers can leave a star rating + optional title + body on your profile — no signup required (locking reviews behind auth would kill the feedback loop). A 24h dupe guard catches accidental double-posts.
Owners moderate from Settings → Marketplace → Reviews from customers. Hide / Restore buttons per review. You can't edit the body (that would defeat the trust signal), but you can hide spam/abuse. Hidden reviews stop counting toward your star average.
If you need staff escalation (a review that's clearly defamatory), email support — Yesoma staff can override from /admin/marketplace.
6. Featured listings
Yesoma staff control which businesses are Featured (the violet pill on browse cards, sorted to the top). It's deliberately scarce — anchor businesses, paid feature spots, showcases. Email support if you want to be considered.
7. Plan gate
The marketplace listing is part of the Business plan. Starter shows an upsell. Marketplace photos count against your storage but don't have a per-listing cap beyond the 12-photo gallery limit.
Common questions
How do customers actually reach me?
The contact form on your profile creates an inquiry in your inbox with source: marketplace. You reply through Yesoma like any other case. If the customer prefers WhatsApp, they can tap the WhatsApp number you've set in your business profile.
Can I disable the marketplace listing later?
Yes — same toggle in Settings → Marketplace. Your profile 404s immediately, and the listing disappears from /find on the next page load.
What if someone leaves a fake/abusive review? Hide it from Settings → Marketplace. Or escalate to support if it's serious enough that you want it removed entirely from the admin database.
Do I have to handle marketplace inquiries differently?
No — same inbox, same reply flow. The source: marketplace tag just helps you see where each lead came from.
