Connect WhatsApp to Yesoma
Request an assisted WhatsApp Business connection, follow eight clear setup stages, and know when to send the verification message.
Connect your WhatsApp Business number through Yesoma's assisted setup. Yesoma reviews your request and securely completes the connection through Meta's official WhatsApp Business service. This is not an instant or fully automatic connection.
Before you start
You must be a workspace owner or admin to request a connection. Have the business name and the WhatsApp number your customers use ready. Agents can see the connection status, but they cannot change connection settings.
If the number is already connected to another service or workspace, do not disconnect it just to continue. Submit the request and follow the guidance Yesoma shows.
Request a connection
- Open Settings → Channels → WhatsApp.
- Select Connect WhatsApp.
- Confirm your business and WhatsApp number.
- Review the setup notice and acceptable-use confirmation.
- Submit the request.
A member of the Yesoma team reviews and connects the number. You do not need to configure another dashboard or paste private connection details into Yesoma.
Submitting the same request again does not create a second connection. If your request is already open, Yesoma returns you to its current progress.
Follow the eight setup stages
-
Request received — Yesoma saved your request for this workspace.
-
Reviewing number — the Yesoma team is checking the business and number you submitted.
-
Verification in progress — required business and number checks are under way. Follow any instruction shown on the page.
-
Connecting — the approved number is being connected securely.
-
Receiving messages — incoming messages are enabled, and the connection is ready for a message check. Yesoma shows this instruction:
Send one WhatsApp message to your business number so Yesoma can verify the connection.
This stage is verified only after that message reaches the correct Yesoma workspace. Opening the page or waiting does not mark it complete.
-
Replies ready — authorized teammates can reply after Yesoma's readiness checks pass.
-
Setup complete — the connection has received a message, replies are ready, and Yesoma has recorded successful reply delivery.
-
Action required — setup has paused because Yesoma needs information or another safe action from you. The page explains what to do next.
The first seven stages describe normal progress. Action required can appear whenever setup cannot safely continue. Stages update from recorded connection activity; you do not mark them complete yourself.
What the connection statuses mean
- Connected — new messages appear in Yesoma, and your team can reply from the Inbox.
- Receiving only — Yesoma is receiving messages, but replies are not enabled yet. This can be a normal, safe part of setup.
- Replies paused — incoming messages still appear, but your workspace cannot send WhatsApp replies.
- Action required — Yesoma needs your attention to continue or restore the connection.
- Degraded — the connection is active, but some messages may be delayed. Yesoma support has been notified.
If setup cannot continue
- Number already connected — return to the existing connection or contact support. Yesoma will not create a second active connection for the same number.
- Verification incomplete — complete the customer action shown on the page, then return to WhatsApp settings.
- First message not received — send the one verification message shown above and wait for it to appear in the Yesoma Inbox.
- Replies not enabled — keep receiving messages while the remaining readiness checks finish. Do not repeatedly retry a reply.
- Connection needs attention — follow the displayed guidance or contact support. Do not disconnect the number unless Yesoma asks you to.
Setup timing varies because the business and number must be reviewed. Yesoma keeps progress visible and lets you know if we need anything from you.
Need help?
Use Contact support on the WhatsApp settings page. Yesoma opens the secure support form over the page, preselects Managed Setup, and can include the workspace and page context needed to investigate. You stay on the connection screen while submitting the request. Never include passwords, sign-in codes, or customer message content in a setup note.
