Managed Messaging overview

Understand assisted channel setup, honest readiness states, and which messaging options are available today.

Managed Messaging brings customer conversations into Yesoma so your team can reply, follow up, and manage the relationship from one place. Yesoma helps your workspace complete the required setup for each supported channel.

What you get

  • One Inbox for customer conversations and delivery progress.
  • Channel settings under Settings → Channels for status, setup progress, usage, and safe actions.
  • Assisted setup when a channel needs review — a real person helps connect it securely.
  • Honest status for what is connected, receiving only, paused, or needs attention.

Channels today

  • WhatsApp — eligible workspaces can request an assisted connection through Meta's official WhatsApp Business service, receive customer messages, and reply from the Inbox after readiness checks pass. This is not an instant or fully automatic setup. Connect WhatsApp to Yesoma.
  • SMS — setup is available through Managed Messaging.
  • Email + Website forms — messages can already reach your Inbox after you configure them under Settings → Channels.
  • Instagram, Messenger & TikTok — planned future adapters; they are not available today.

How to start

  1. Open Settings → Channels.
  2. Select the channel you want to connect.
  3. Review the eligibility and setup notice, then submit the request.
  4. Follow the progress and next action shown in Yesoma.

For WhatsApp, the customer-visible progress runs from Request received through Setup complete, with Action required shown whenever setup cannot safely continue. New connections cannot send replies until receiving has been proven and the remaining readiness checks pass. Read What happens after I request setup for all eight stages.
